Our Philosophy

As a welcoming, inclusive, and diverse community of faith, St. Leo the Great School is a ministry of the Catholic Church and is therefore rooted in the tradition and teachings of the Catholic Faith. In partnership with the parish, we acknowledge the role of the whole community, family, and school, to ensure that each student reaches his or her full potential and develops into a faith-filled learner.

We recognize that families are the primary educators of their children. We value our classroom teachers and staff, who create dynamic learning environments where students develop academic, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual skills. The school ministry fosters and develops a range of individual talents and abilities, and it encourages and expects our students to work toward their academic potential, to serve others, to grow in faith, and to see Christ in others.

Our Mission

St. Leo the Great School is a welcoming, inclusive, and diverse community where students encounter Christ in a rigorous curriculum designed to educate the whole child.
